LADYMONIX, the celebrated Detroit-based DJ and producer, has left an indelible mark on the electronic music scene. Her journey from Baltimore to Los Angeles, and ultimately Detroit, has been a rich tapestry of influences, always firmly rooted in deep, sassy, moody house grooves that move dance floors worldwide. In 2018, she founded her own label, Frizner Electric, and her tracks have graced esteemed labels like PlanetE, Studio Barnhus, NDATL and more. With a busy tour schedule and a slew of releases in the pipeline, LADYMONIX remains a dynamic force in the global dance music scene.
ÈBONY is a JUNO nominated duo comprised of Montreal based Jordan Gardner and Toronto’s R-ODERICK. Their style is a synthesis of the futurist perspective of Detroit techno and the soulful melodies and polyrhythms of Chicago and New York.
While the godemperor may be many things (an immigrant, a black woman & a community organizer)/(physical & metaphysical), they are one thing first and foremost… a dancer… With that in mind, godemperor endeavours to play high-energy bodacious bops and bangers that will guarantee to get your booty on the dancefloor all night long. Built from a place of discovery, Regional Archive is a creative studio inspired by the artistic output of artists, designers & makers at the local and regional scale. The studio’s mission is to support creation, share stories of the creative process and in turn deepen our connection and regard for the work.
